Logo Design Resources

Below is a the jist of what I've used as research material for this website. As well, I have included some Adobe Illustrator and Webdesign textbooks you might want to look into.

Books About Logo Design

Really Good Logos Explained by Margo Chase, Rian Hughes, Ron Miriello, Alex W. White

Really Good Logos Explained, I'm afraid, is a bit of an exaggeration. I was a bit disappointed with this book, really. I thought some of the designs were cool, but I've seen a lot better just surfing though logo design websites. Glad I didn't buy it. You can get this one at the Calgary Public Library if it interests you.

Logo, Font and Lettering Bible by Leslie Cabarga

Logo, Font and Lettering Bible has got some great artwork in it. It covers some history, typogrophy, creating your own fonts, and even has some Illustrator lessons in it. Well put together book. Definitely worth a look.

Logo Design Workbook by Adam Morioka

Logo Design Workbook probaby has a lot of useful information in it. I got to about page 20 before I stopped reading. Not enough picture to keep me entertained.
